God Still Does Miracles!

Seeing signs of God’s abundant provision across the Arctic

ATTS Students from the Kivalliq region gathered outside of Winnipeg for a week of hands-on training about worship and discipleship, and experienced the “Healing the Wounded Heart” program offered by our friends at On Eagles Wings Ecumenical Ministries. Thanks to all our ATTS supporters!

It’s so easy to get sidetracked, weighed down by the cares and concerns of everyday life in this fallen, messy world. This edition of the Arctic News is a reminder not to believe the distractions. When we stop, reflect, and remember, we’ll find that God has provided, and will provide all that we need to be faithful and accomplish what He has purposed!

We don’t need to look far and wide to find the miraculous. Instead we just need to share what God has done – and is doing. Changed lives, healings, once-in-a-lifetime opportunities that we could never orchestrate for ourselves. Reconciled families, parents equipped to break the cycle and raise their children to know God’s love, and ordinary broken people mended and sent out on mission to bring the good news to a world that needs to hear it. Truly miraculous!

Moses told Israel “consider what God has done… for you have seen it with your own eyes!” (Deuteronomy 11). This wasn’t a call to remember the past for its’ own sake. It was a call to action: you saw what God can do, so trust in God, so that you can be strong, and accomplish the mission God has given you to do. Our prayer is that this issue will be an encouragement, because it’s one we need ourselves! God still does miracles, and He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever, so let’s keep trusting and remain faithful to Him.
