On Sunday, June 12, baby McKenna Mannilaq Ipakohak along with Fred Novoliyak and Mila Algiak were baptized at St. Andrew’s Church in Kugluktuk after completing the 6-week Baptism Preparation Course with the Rev. Dr. Collis Machoko. They were supported by over 30 people who came out to welcome them in this beginning of a life of faith in Christ. In this picture, McKenna expresses her joy with a scream! Diocese Purchases House in Yellowknife
As we step out in faith to strengthen our Diocese to reach a new generation, we have purchased a house to re-establish the role of the Executive Archdeacon as a full-time clergy position assisting the Diocesan Bishop in mission, ministry, and administration. We recognize the generous contributions made by a number of parishes who responded in faith with contributions to make this purchase possible.
