Baptisms in Kugluktuk

On Sunday, June 12, baby McKenna Mannilaq Ipakohak along with Fred Novoliyak and Mila Algiak were baptized at St. Andrew’s Church in Kugluktuk after completing the 6-week Baptism Preparation Course with the Rev. Dr. Collis Machoko. They were supported by over 30 people who came out to welcome them in this beginning of a life of faith in Christ. In this picture, McKenna expresses her joy with a scream! All 3 families who took the course are now attending regularly – praise the Lord!

Bishop Annie made a September trip to Sanikiluaq which included a large wedding and some wonderful time on the land.

Search Process Begins in Yellowknife

The Rev’d Bryan & Michelle Haigh and their children have taken a new position in the Diocese of Bermuda. We thank them for their ministry in the diocese and pray for a smooth transition as Holy Trinity begins the search for their next Rector.

Diocese Purchases House in Yellowknife

As we step out in faith to strengthen our Diocese to reach a new generation, we have purchased a house to re-establish the role of the Executive Archdeacon as a full-time clergy position assisting the Diocesan Bishop in mission, ministry, and administration. We recognize the generous contributions made by a number of parishes who responded in faith with contributions to make this purchase possible.
